Ocean’s Deep

How did I awake in the ocean.

I swear I walked upon solid ground.

Here the sea is raging.

Yet when I close my eyes, and I think of you the sea seems to be at peace.

When I open my eyes the rage is overwhelming, and it seems that death rules here.

Why are the waves so wild?

Why does it seem to be deep with out no end?

Is there even land to go too?

I will use the compass that you have given me.

You have buried it deep in my heart.

If I seek out my own heart I will find you!

I will trust my feet, because you are the one who guides them.

The wilds of sea will not scare me since your hand are upon me.

The ocean’s deep thinks it might own me, but the rock which I stand upon will give it no claim!
