Ocean’s grip

Lost at sea…

Drift in the open,

Hope is  the only raft I have left.

Otherwise the depths would take its claim.

the ocean relentlessly batters  against my raft of my promise.

I cannot see pass the waves so my faith will be my compass.

I languish under weight of what I can’t see.

My strength gets weaker every day.

I am cold, and I am tired of paddling on my own.

I hang on with all my might so one day I may walk on solid ground.

Yet torrents of sea doesn’t seem to relinquish its hold any time soon.

I beg for mercy so currents can take me somewhere warm.

I must wait and endure until the end because one day currents will take home.
