Hope in the mountains

I stare into dark places hoping to see your face.

I reach my arms out over a high place to just to feel your touch.

I put myself in isolation for the chance to hear your voice.

Yet I have been seduced by the world.

Pleasure it gives to my body, but it makes my soul sick.

I can walk on sand still my spirit screams out to mountains.

Your words haunt me day and night so I know the ghost is with me.

I long for the day you will rescue me, because I will not let go of the hope.

My faith will be always raised up.

Your words will always pierce right through me.

Your righteousness will always protect me from turmoil of this world.

I Call your name and you are always there.

Look to you because I love you, and you truly all I have.
